I love my Book Bangers Blog Interview. They do it for the love of books and the indie authors they support.
When did you start your business, and why did you create it?
We started the page almost 5 years ago it started as fan-fiction for Fifty Shades of Grey and turned into a blog and reviewing books for authors.
How did you choose your business?
It sorta just chose us and our love of reading.
What do you like most about your business?
The flexibility we have to read books and the love of being able to meet new authors and fans.
What are your plans for the future with your business?
We will be growing as the years go on with more reviewers and signings.
What do you feel makes your audience/readers/or authors you work with special?
The feeling of being a family and knowing that you are both in each other’s lives and can watch readers and authors grow.
Do you have a website?
Yes, we do.
Has anything surprised you about starting a website?
The fact that we have met so many people and have become amazing friends with a few of them.
Did you do your site yourself website? Do you use WordPress?
I did it myself.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about starting their own business in the author world?
Do it you won’t be disappointed. You will struggle in the beginning for sure. It doesn’t take a lot of like overnight, but keep at it. Be friendly and don’t have drama. Talk to people and communicate with them.
If you could go back in time and do something differently, what would you do and why?
I don’t know that I would do anything different just maybe make it more of a business. We don’t get paid we do this for fun and because we love to read.
How fast did your audience grow?
It took about 6 months.
How many visitors/subscribers do you have?
Not sure it varies.
Is this your only job?
No I’m actually a Home Daycare Provider and my blog partner is a Teacher.
Did you launch your business while working another job?
Yes
Do you have an email list? If so, did you start it when you launched?
We do and we just started it when people email us.
How do you promote your site or business?
On facebook and the blog
Do you earn money from your site, and if so, how? (ie..Affiliate marketing, ads, products, etc.?)
No we don’t.
Did you intend to earn from it when you launched?
Probably not at the moment.
Who are your favorite authors right now?
Chelle Bliss, Nina Levine, HJ Bellus, Lani Lynn Vale, Kathy Coopmans and so many more.

- I love the beach
